From Iris Photo to Heirloom

Every piece passes three steps in our atelier.

01 — Your iris photo

Send a sharp close-up. We study the colors, fibers and light of the eye.

02 — Painted & approved

Our artist hand-paints the iris and sends you a macro photo for approval.

03 — Sealed in metal

Only after your yes do we seal the glass lens in 925 silver or 14k gold.

Meet the artist · Kristina Pechen

Hey! My Name Is Kristina Pechen, a Ukrainian Artist Turning Human Gazes Into Wearable Magic.

Born in Ukraine, my journey into ocular jewelry started with a simple belief: the human eye is the only place where science meets the soul. No two irises on Earth ever repeat. I founded pecheneyes — guided by the philosophy “See the beauty, wear the magic” — to transform the fleeting gaze of the people you love most into eternal, touchable talismans.

Nothing in my studio is ever printed or mass-produced. Working with fine micro-brushes under magnification, I spend up to 12 hours layering mineral pigments inside medical-grade glass domes to capture every amber fleck, crypt, and shadow of your iris. Set into sculptural 925 Sterling Silver and 14k Gold, each piece is a surreal heirloom designed to protect, remember, and mesmerize.

100% Macro Photo Approval Guarantee

Before the glass lens is sealed, you receive a macro photo of your painted iris. Nothing is sealed until you approve it — if anything needs adjusting, Kristina refines it and sends a new photo.

Handcrafted by Kristina Pechen

Every iris is hand-painted by Kristina herself with micro-brushes under magnification — up to 12 hours per piece. Never printed, never mass-produced.

Made for one person

Each piece is painted to order from your own eye photo and set in 925 sterling silver or 14k gold, then shipped insured.

Concierge & FAQ

How clear does my eye photo need to be?

A sharp close-up in soft daylight, eye wide open, without flash glare. A phone camera is perfect — tap to focus on the iris. If Kristina needs a better shot, she asks before painting.

Can I order as a surprise gift without their photo?

Yes. Choose “Send later / Surprise gift” in the configurator. After checkout we email you, and you send the photo whenever you have it.

Is the glass eye waterproof?

The painted iris is sealed under glass and copes with splashes. To keep the seal and the metal at their best, take your piece off before swimming, showering or using cleaning products.

How does the 100% Macro Photo Approval work?

When the iris is painted, Kristina sends you a macro photo. Nothing is sealed until you approve it; if anything needs adjusting, she refines it and sends a new photo.

How long does crafting and shipping take?

Each piece is painted to order. Crafting starts once we have your photo, and every product page shows the delivery estimate for your country, including insured express shipping.

What if I don’t know my exact ring size?

Pick “Not sure — confirm size later” or use the size guide and international converter on the product page. We confirm the size with you by email before crafting.
